Little Heaven Day Care Testimonials

I was assigned to San Francisco
from Canada. I worked at the Consulate General of Canada downtown, but rented a
house in Marin County to be close to my daughter’s school. Our son was 1 year
old when we moved, and it became apparent that he needed socialize with other
children. We began investigating day care options.

As soon as we met you and were
given a tour of your fabulous facility we were sold! Your indoor and outdoor
play areas are expansive and safe. The variety of toys that you had for
children of all ages reassured us that Michael would be able to grow and evolve
under your care.

A particular favorite of
Michael’s was music class and other special activities that you organize
throughout the year for the children. Michael will surely miss the individual
attention he got with you now that he is going to the French Lycee pre-school
with his sister.

Keep up the good work and thank
you again for everything.

Every mom knows it’s
never and easy thing to leave your child with someone, particularly someone you
don’t have an established history with. When I went back to work after
maternity leave with my first child, Finn, I had to find a daycare at which I
would feel comfortable leaving him for 10 hours a day, five days a week.

I looked at a number of
daycare facilities around Marin—the more publicly known centers — and didn’t
find anything that felt right until a friend of mine suggested I visit Little
Heaven Daycare. Upon meeting Aline, feeling immediately at ease with her peaceful
and calming nature, I knew right way that I would feel comfortable leaving her.
I was impressed by the structure she’d established, the way she’d creatively
used her space to accommodate the kids and the cleanliness of every room.

After several months of
bringing Finn to LHDC, I further realized what as smart decision I had made. I
was continually amazed at Aline’s interest in improving the daycare and the
swiftness at which she accomplished these improvements, despite her endlessly
busy days. Aline was going to early childhood education classes at night, studying
during naptime, and looking into upgrades to their backyard all while planning
fun birthday parties for the kids and making large, advance batches of healthy
food. Honestly, it was enough to make me feel inadequate… but thankful that
someone was giving my child such wonderful experiences that I might not even are
able to provide.

I have recommended LHDC a
number of times and to any new mom who might be wavering on her decision to do
the same, I would emphatically say “Do it” if you can’t stay home yourself and
if you don’t family to help give your child a loving environment, Little
Heaven Daycare is the best alternative outside the home, but with just as much
